"The whole prosecution seems to be spite-driven"

At the same time, it appear to me the judge needs be careful & not give the prosecution grounds for appeal on account of his bias (but I'm just an ignorant deplorable).

They may be trying to bait him into attacking them.

Well, that judge did complain he wasn’t patient. At some point he might recuse, saying that the whole thing is getting his goat.

Though if I were to write an amicus to the judge, it might be just cool it, if this is a BS art act, just let them pile it up and relax and smile, keeping a minimum of order. He can serve it back up to them later in his final brief.
