NEVER underestimate the left. They hit a grand slam with Obama and struck out with Clinton. We were two strikes down with McCain and Romney and then hit a grand slam in the bottom the ninth with Trump. Sure, a over-cliche of baseball but the fight for America continues...
That was then, this is now. Way different.
Who did Obama first run against? McCain? Back then the American people had a belly full of posers and career political hacks like McCain. Then 4 years later, Romney? This was no grand slam. The Republicans put up mediocre questionable political hacks and that's why they lost. There was little or no enthusiasm for these political stooges.
This is a whole new ball game today.
