Michael Cohen, Donald Trump’s former personal attorney and fixer, isn’t the only one with secretly recorded audio of the president.
Multiple sources with direct knowledge of the situation tell The Daily Beast that Omarosa Manigault-Newman, the infamous former Apprentice star who followed Trump to the White House, secretly recorded conversations with the president—conversations she has since leveraged while shopping her forthcoming “tell-all” book, bluntly titled UNHINGED.
For months, it has been rumored that Manigault had clandestinely recorded on her smartphone “tapes” of unspecified private discussions she had in the West Wing. Audio actually does exist, and even stars Manigault’s former boss.
One person confirmed to The Daily Beast they had heard at least one of her recordings featuring President Trump. Multiple sources familiar with the so-called “Omarosa tapes” described the recorded conversations between Trump and Manigault as anodyne, everyday chatter, but said they did appear to feature Trump’s voice, either over the phone or in-person.
The mere existence of such recordings represent a dramatic betrayal of trust by a one-time Trump confidant who has since abandoned years of professed loyalty to the president and has apparently decided to profit off her years of closeness to Trump.
President Trump particularly loathes the idea of being recorded without his knowledge, and felt especially irked and betrayed when news broke that Cohen had done so, as The Daily Beast reported late last month.
Manigault didn’t respond to a request for comment on this story.

Hey noobie...go look at my posting history and see if I am a never Trumper. I got on board as soon as he announced his judicial nominations. It must be pretty sad that you can’t carry on a constructive argument, but call people never Trumpers because they point out the obvious: It was stupid to bring her into his White House circle. That was a mistake. If that makes me a nevertrumper by your definition...that’s YOUR problem.
I don’t think this stuff really hurts Trump - he almost seems to thrive on the attention it gives him.
Also, I think he’s more guilty of flirtations and making outlandish comments rather than actual scandalous behavior - they aren’t going to find any real dirt, because there isn’t any.
He seems to enjoy watching them get their hopes up, only to be disappointed.

I have to believe that Trump knew she was capable of this. Any conversations in front of her were scripted to appease the nut. She did help Trump with certain groups initially. She’s got a book deal so it’s all about hype. Wish Drudge would just ignore her....
trump never had her as a confident. President Trump knew that his relationship with her through the television show The Apprentice was his biggest exposure open to exploitation during the election.

Trump gave her what she thought was to be a very important job in the administration but when president Trump won she found out that her job was only a place where he thought she could do little or no damage.
Trump knew from day one that with her he was dealing with a psychopath that had the potential of destroying his run for the presidency
Why is this not espionage? I would think that there would be some sort of executive privilege or classification attached to meetings with the president. The Secret Servi9ce or the FBI should visit her.

Trump never had to deal with a press that was all-attacking, all the time. From every corner to every thing in his life, he has been mercilessly attacked. That even his so called friends and allies leaked to the press, and everyone found an angle to get famous. HR Mcmaster, Reince, to now this silliness. Almost impossible to run a government in this raining insanity.
I would think all conversations that occur in the offices of the President of the United States would be considered classified. But maybe not...
if she releases a tape that is negative for Trump, she will have thousands of offers from grateful lefties...
Yep. Appears very few people do get it. They think Trump got to where is on pure luck.
