When I said “mission focus” I meant that they accomplished set goals and then basically stopped. Had the Crusaders continued to take the fight to Muslim held lands while they had the advantage they probably wouldn’t have rid the world of Islam but they would have rid part of the world of it.
As for Islam’s mission focus, Islam has as open ended goals as can be had: everything must submit or (ultimately) die.
The folks who truly buy onto the whole religion of peace have their heads shoved so far up their cans on what Islam was meant to be that they are basically committing suicide. They are way beyond a “well, bless their hearts” willfully ignorant, beyond the biggest “here’s your sign” that may be presented, even beyond the people who think The Onion is a news source.

Goose/Gander Plan. The ragheads want to convert or kill Us, I say We just keep killing them off. Take prisoners long enough for interrogations and when done send them off to the land of 72 virgin goats. Maybe use them to go Trolling for Sharks. There’s been plenty of Sharks along the East Coast lately.
