You're not very good about taking a person's word for what is in their mind and what their intentions are when making an observation. You are very good at making your own assumptions, incorrect though they might be. For example, you assume I read Trump's book, but I never have. You didn't bother to ask, you just assumed.
Writing is a flat method of communication, devoid of the visual and auditory cues humans rely on when interacting with each other. It helps to keep that in mind.
