-It’s not a matter of naivete. Rather, President Trump believes very strongly in his own powers of persuasion. And why shouldn’t he since his entire life’s experience reinforces his confidence. But the whole Mueller thing is about setting him up for impeachment, and I don’t think the President fully appreciates the danger. He is not naive or ignorant, just naturally inclined.

However, these same qualities can be a detriment in some situations. Speaking with Mueller is fraught with danger for President Trump. It's a potential disaster waiting to happen. This is one time the President should trust his lawyers instead of his own naturally open inclination.

My point again is that you make an assumption that his personality type automatically means he is not cognizant of his own limitations. You’ve diagnosed his personality by just reading a book he wrote or by what others say about him, not unlike the crazy “psychologists” who claim he is deranged without examination.

I don’t make that assumption. Rather I believe at his age and experience in life and how he is currently handling the adversity that surrounds him, that he pretty much knows exactly what he’s doing.

To each his own, I guess...
