Not at all. If your system plays skippy videos that are worthless to watch because of performance, then there goes your user base.
Not a single video streaming platform performs at even a fraction of what Youtube does. Half a trillion dollars in tech will do that.
If you wanted a streaming video service that could keep up with that bear in mind that not even Netflix could deliver on 1/4 the bandwidth use that Youtube does.
Matching these system technologies IS the basis of the problem.
