I think you’re painting Alex with much too broad of a brush. He may have some things you don’t like, but he also has a lot of good stuff, *way* before anybody else see it coming, which turns out to be true.
A guy like that is bound to miss now and then. Bigley, sometimes. But he’s also the guy who will see the unexpected first. He’s a valuable resource, if you’re careful.
The 9/11 conspiracy nonsense is a miss now and again? And Sandy Hook? And the Boston Marathon bombing? And the Las Vegas mass shooting? And chemtrails, etc, etc, etc? No, the guy is a ranting conspiracy freak. Where is he on the Hollywood moon landing conspiracy?
He has an unalienable right to free speech, but no one can be forced to carry or publish his conspiracy b/s. Freedom of association is also a free speech issue, and I chose many years ago not to be associated with these kind of nutcases and snake oil salesmen (though I’m somewhat nutty myself).
But I do sympathize with his current blackout problems. Been there, done that, don’t like it a bit.
We have a page on fb (because some of our users wanted it), but I rarely post there. Same with twitter. We operate our own servers. I’d hate to have to depend on the fb, twitter, youtube, etc, platforms. Don’t even like the idea of cloud, because they’re owned by google, amazon, microsoft, apple, et al, who all happen to be big tech liberal/progressive companies who have yet to learn that socialism is an evil hater of freedom and free market capitalism.
Ironic, because all these big corporate guys earned their billions through capitalism. If and when the socialist totalitarians ever take total control, their companies will be taken over to spout the official totalitarian government propaganda line 24/7. These corporate giants will join the rest of us in the gulags.
Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Goebbels, Mussolini, et al, would have loved to have had a tool like the internet. In their hands, it would be like Big Brother is watching and controlling 24/7.
