There’s very little about this trial in the national news, which is how you can tell it’s going poorly for Mueller and his people.
Nothing to see here folks. Just the Deep State holding a show trial to make itself look bad. When these folks step out from behind the curtain the only thing you think is, man, put some clothes on and try to look human.
As you can see the prosecutors are spoiled and can’t stand a judge who is tough on them. However, by being tough the judge will reduce Manafort’s opportunities for a successful appeal.
Actually, there is scant detail about the trial especially that tiny detail of the alleged crimes occurring years before Manafort was part of the Trump campaign, but plenty of coverage. It always includes identifying the trial as from Special Counsel Mueller against former Trump campaign chairman Manafort, and is heard top and the bottom of almost every hour on ABC radio news so that people make the connection that isn't there between this trial and Mueller's witch hunt of the President.
