The writer is either naive or biased. Possibly both.

Anyone who has flagged content - obscenity, spam, etc. - knows that responses are usually apathetic and ineffective if there are any responses at all.

Blaming the user base is an obvious ploy to avoid responsibility and, given the above, obviously false.

I’m not being a smart-aleck, but I honestly don’t know the answer. What “facts” that Alex Jones or Infowars posted/said that have been proven false? I know he’s a big conspiracy theory guy, but we’ve had them for a long, long time. They’ve never been prevented from sharing their views, though.

I wonder how far you would take that. I’m sure you don’t want public healthcare but should a private healthcare be able to deny you treatment because you’re conservative? No one seems to want public infrastructure to have government funding but should all Christians be prevented by driving on these highways? How about electricity.
