This guy's career was launched and promoted by his then long-term girlfriend, who is markedly more talented than him. His ‘nice guy’ image is bs. He's a jerk, and in my opinion a marginal actor.

In Mad Men he was a thieving bastard (stole a man’s identity and was born and raised in a whorehouse) and was a serial adulterer.

He may have been the central role of Mad Men but he wasn’t an idolized star. Only stupid women thought such a man would be admirable.
