Private companies acting on concert when that acting in concert in effect monopolizes and controls a particular market or industry is by definition a Trust. There are anti-Trust laws on the books to deal with the concerted actions of private companies and in this case they clearly apply.

People can yammer about "they're private companies" all they like but that doesn't alter the fact that when they act in concert they constitute an illegal Trust and these companies clearly fit that definition. Whether they're private, then, isn't the issue at all nor is anyone arguing that their individual actions when not done in concert with the other principal players to control the market are in any way illegal.

It is the fact that they are acting in concert to eliminate a specific category of speech that is illegal.

Maybe you don't understand the difference between anti-Monopoly law and anti-Trust law.

Tech giants controlled by rabid lefties are acting in concert with our corrupt stasi state, also controlled by rabid leftists, to stifle speech...What could go wrong?

None of this is going to end well.

It certainly looks like a trust in conspiracy to deprive free speech constitutional rights based on their own opinion.
