Agree ... the article stated that someone threw water on Kirk. While that was a minor thing this time, next time it could be acid. Regardless of what was thrown, it is legally assault and the thrower should be arrested.

Regardless of what was thrown, it is legally assault and the thrower should be arrested...exactly - and while some might think it petty to insist on an arrest in such a "minor" incident, it seems to me that it's more than time for conservatives to do just that - insist on pressing whatever charges apply - every time some incident like this happens - they may not always be heeded, but at least it would put these deranged protestors on notice that their pranks and thuggish behavior just might, for once, have consequences......
