“I was looking at one of these the other day but I read up on it and my wife wouldn’t be allowed to drive it so I had to pass.”
and the left claims conservatives don’t have senses of humor ...
If that happens...
* Do they change their name back to Persia.
* The despots in Syria and Yemen are being rapped up ( GSC troops in Yemen ) all Iranian funded probably ( read Thomas Wictor on Twitter ).
* About a month ago Jarret does a 6 country peace tour in the Middle East.
* Bibi meets w/ Putin, PDJT shortly their after meets w/ Putin.
* MY guess is they got him aboard, he will be a signatory, have a play to make him look good, and frankly I don't give a chit if he gets a warm water port, Oye Vey, lets get this deal done.
* Funds will be cut off from P.A. for suicide b0mhers if Iran goes even more broke.
* Their newkee buddy has been cut off from them you know the Nhorks.
How does all of this not set the stage for a peace deal between Israel and the P.A.? The P.A. will go the way of the IRA after 9/11, the closed shop because Irish Americans gave to fire-fighter charities rather than the IRA. How does the P.A. and all their despots gangs ( you can name them ) in Syria etc survive without Iranian funds?
Am I the only one to see this powerplay?
I hope McCain lives long enough to see this as well as his fellow Swampians that have been playing games in Syria that we don't know who the bad guys are that are our bad guys that created nothing but a long protracted conflict with nothing fixed. It will be like that Pelosi Meme "Curse you Donald Trump".
Best-Potus-Evah....
A hundred years from now entire careers will be spent explaining how the greatest transfer of wealth in history was squandered on revolution by bearded fools. Spent even halfway competently every man, woman, and child in the Middle East could be enjoying a quality of life their old Sultans could only dream of. That opportunity is gone. What remains isn’t going to be pretty.
Somehow, I wound up with a copy of that on 45 in the very early 1970’s.
It was in with my Buddha Records 45’s from the late 1960’s.
No, you assume rational thinking
The Mullahs canconclude that war is the will of God. Allah wlling war will result in war.
“Their lifeline is oil. If the taps are shut off Iran will implode within months”
The second half of the sanctions, that go into effect on 4 November, bans petroleum sales.
Almost all Government revenue is from oil sales.
In addition to being a one crop economy, that depends overwhelmingly on a single thing for revenue, they also depend overwhelmingly on imports for most everything else.
The first half of the Sanctions, hitting today will drive prices through the roof and shut down some of their basic industry (halting supplies of metal and coal). The second half will totally bankrupt them.
These “sanctions” are really an embargo, enforced through economic means, rather than military. They are overwhelming - not something that competent managers could juggle. Unless another country (China or Turkey) openly defy sanctions, Iran can’t smuggle enough to avoid a crushing economic depression.
90-days After US withdrawal from the Iran deal (Today, 6 Aug), the following sanctions snap back on Iran, according to the Treasury Department:
- Sanctions on Iran buying or acquiring U.S. dollars
- Sanctions on Iran trading gold and other precious metals
- Sanctions on Iran’s sale, supply or trade of metals such as aluminum and steel, as well as graphite, coal and certain software for “integrating industrial processes”
- Sanctions on “significant” sales or purchases of Iranian rials, or the maintenance of significant funds or accounts outside the country using Iranian rials
- Sanctions on issuing Iranian debt
- Iranian auto sanctions
- Halting the importation of Persian carpets and foods (pistachios) into the US, and ending some licensing-related transactions.
At the end of the 180-day interval on Nov. 4th:
- Sanctions on Iran’s ports, as well as the country’s shipping and shipping sectors
- Sanctions on buying petroleum and petrochemical products with a number of Iranian oil companies
- Sanctions on foreign financial institutions transacting with the Central Bank of Iran and other Iranian financial institutions
- Sanctions on the provision of certain financial messaging services to Iran’s central bank and other Iranian financial institutions
- Sanctions on the provision of underwriting services, insurance, or reinsurance
- Sanctions on Iran’s energy sector
Just read how Iran wants to negotiate now LOL said they are willing to come to the table LOL..more WINNING..because Iran knows they dont have an ass kisser in chief who kisses Iran’s fanny anymore, those days are OVER
Oh, nose! Don’t get Bammy mad. He was promised his very own subway and a year’s supply of track if the deal stayed put for its full term.
