@realDonaldTrump

The Fake News hates me saying that they are the Enemy of the People only because they know it’s TRUE. I am providing a great service by explaining this to the American People. They purposely cause great division & distrust. They can also cause War! They are very dangerous & sick!

The Spanish-American War comes to mind.

I’m speechless.

Nobody can say with any credibility the press are honest.

Trump says they are dishonest and everyone can instantly see it for themselves.

Now Trump says they are dangerous and sick, and again everyone can instantly see it for themselves.

Trump is waking the nation.

It's better than just a brilliant tweet. By stepping back and evaluating the big picture, we can see the strategic impetus for Trump identifying the enemy.

If we accept the premise that the people of the US are engaged in a (cold) civil war against the deep state and its various supporters, then it's critical to identify the respective combatants.

Since the Mockingbird media is in actuality simply an extension of the deep state - and vice versa - then so too do they represent an existential threat to national security and our constitutional republic.

Under that scenario, the 1A no longer applies, since we do not give aid and comfort to the enemy. See Tokyo Rose or Lord Haw Haw during WWII. So, what Trump is doing is setting up the premise that the enemy propaganda organs should not be afforded 1A protection.

You can imagine the reaction if this attempt was made too early. It's a slow process, but one that is critical to the success of the patriot war effort.

The screaming on the left is particularly loud, confirming Trumps statement is true.

The press, by being partisans, have damaged themselves and uplifted the President’s ability to mock them. They have no one to blame but themselves.

Last night’s CBS Weekend News: “A large right-wing parade erupted in violence in Portland.” The reporter helpfully added that many who had joined with the AntiFa people were not part of the group but were demonstrating against the “alt-right”. And while they did show the police breaking up a group throwing bottles, etc, the coverage managed to omit the fact that the tear gas was aimed at the AntiFa types. Oh, and they did include shots of a couple of Confederate flags/pins.

the media have been carrying out Russia’s goal of sowing distrust and chaos here in the US, by pushing the “Russia collusion hoax”, organizing riots and spreading lies throughout the media.

He gets it.
They are ones that don't.
The attempt to take down a duly elected President is the tactic of somebody aiding and abetting a seditious enemy of the people who elected him. Trump is so very right. I love this fighting President. Got bless him.

“The media have a serious problem on their hands. They have monumentalized every trivial criticism against the President, so when they have a legitimate criticism, it gets ignored.”

absolutely correct ... they totally destroyed their own credibility with their hatred of President Trump because they looked like fools when he won after they universally said he had no chance. Now, the majority of people no longer believe a word they say and have completely tuned them out, thus should President Trump every do something that truly deserves serious criticism, no one will believe them ... too bad their vile hatred of President Trump overrode the lessons of Aesop’s “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” ..

“...the patriot war effort.”

That IS what we are part of — a war. It’s real, and we must engage.
