On a personal note.....
......it began with the pickled asparagus.
I love the stuff. I also love roasted cabbage and/or garlic, green beans fried with the salmon, avocado in the dip.
All green stuff, as it would go.
Only I take Coumadine.
I have been for over a year now to get my “reading”, which should fall between 2.0 and 2.5, to a good rate. Lower than 2.0 and it means your blood is too thin. Higher than 2.5 means your blood is too thick.
I began with an extra half a pill on Monday, than Friday and last time, Wednesday.
I decided it was time for me to go with Eliquis.
The problem with Eliquis is not that you can’t eat green stuff. It’s that it’s so expensive.
It’s so expensive because it’s still under copyright as new drugs are to allow the big pharma to recover their test costs.
Now as I understand, Eliquis is not too awful expensive...almost $150 for three months worth.
But coumadine, which eventually almost killed me as I went anemic and my family practitioner was calling me and begging me to begin taking Vitamin B12 and iron.
For a while there folks, I could not breathe. I had no idea what was wrong with me.
Anyway, started Eliquis, stopped the daily baby aspirin as Cardio guy told me no more, and now take a B12 and iron pill daily.
Felt better immediately.
Yea, I do have AFIB.
But feeling quite good now, thank God.
Check with your doctor about Plavix (blood thinner)
