Lebron and Trump Butt Heads Once Again

President Donald J. Trump tweeted late last night his apparent distaste for CNN’s Don Lemon and NBA superstar Lebron James after an interview between the two aired on CNN, saying, “Don Lemon…made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do.”

But, during the conversation, James also indicated that he would not be willing to sit down with President Trump. Lemon asked him, "What would you say to the president if he were sitting right here?"

James responded, "I would never sit across from him." The current Los Angeles Laker recently told CNN that he believes President Trump is using sports to try and divide America.

"What I've noticed over the past few months [is] he's kinda used sports to kinda divide us, and that's something that I can't relate to," James said. “I can't sit back and say nothing." James was referencing President Trump's disgust with NFL players and other professionals athletes who kneel during the playing of the national anthem as a form of protest.

These remarks apparently irked the president who also tweeted, "I like Mike!" last night.

"Mike" is most likely referring to Chicago Bulls star Michael Jordan. It is often debated who is considered the greatest of all time in the NBA - Lebron James or Michael Jordan. Jordan won 6 NBA championships in two separate three-peats. James has only won the NBA championships three times but has reached the finals for the past eight years.

While much of the media is criticizing Trump's characterization of Lebron, virtually everybody is ignoring that the president also called Don Lemon "the dumbest man on television." President Trump has butted heads with Lemon in the past. Perhaps most noticeably in 2015 shortly after he announced his presidency, Lemon questioned why Trump categorized many illegal aliens as rapists. President Trump asserted all he was doing was speaking the truth. That exchange can be found here.

Donald Trump: 'Somebody's doing the raping' (CNN interview with Don Lemon)

As for Lebron vs. Trump, the NBA legend has previously called the 45th commander-in-chief a bum.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I always turn to NBA players for political, economic and national security insights!

“Mike” demurred when he said, even Republicans buy Nikes, staying away from politics.

I don’t recall Trump saying anything about race. The issue has been about disrespect for the anthem and nation. Liberal LeBron who rallied for Hillary was against Trump from the start because he is a liberal activist. I’m glad Liberal LeBron is covering tuition for so many kids who already have more spent on their education than most.

Yes, “LeBron” Trump is the divider

Not your bro Kaepernick, not his bitch, not Curry or all the other “pro” athletes who show their ignorance and racism thru social media.

Stupid is as stupid does. You may make million$ but your lack of education is telling.

There will some handwringing Freepers who will say the president should stay away from saying anything to LeBron. It was LeBron who called the president a racist and he’s not gonna take that crap! How many times have we let the left lie about people on our side and allowing a falsehood to be taken as the truth? The president is fighting back and so are we, and that’s why the left is melting down. Their lies are being shoved back in their faces!

Who is doing the kneeling? Who is disrespecting our anthem, our flag, our vets and our nation? It isn’t Trump. Those doing this are the ones using sports to divide a nation. This stupid clown has an IQ of a 2-year old.
IF it weren’t for the “ball” most of these dumb POSs would be picking up trash on the side of the highways in prison orange. They’re in this country making millions and yet they’re unthankful, ungrateful and disrespectful. They should just GTFO and move to Zimbabwe, which is more in line with what they believe in and what they want for here.

Robert A. Heinlein Quotes and Sayings!:

“[T]here seems to have been an actual decline in rational thinking. The United States had become a place where entertainers and professional athletes were mistaken for people of importance. They were idolized and treated as leaders; their opinions were sought on everything and they took themselves just as seriously-after all, if an athlete is paid a million or more a year, he knows he is important ... so his opinions of foreign affairs and domestic policies must be important, too, even though he proves himself to be ignorant and sub-literate every time he/she opens his/her mouth.”
