If they stopped televising these briefings, better than half of all those White House “reporters” would ask for other assignments that would give them more TV time - PERIOD!
Or, the only time these particular people would actually be IN a briefing is when the President or a Cabinet member was present, otherwise, they would send some stenographer to these daily meetings!
I would bet my monthly paycheck on it!!

Again: Cameras need to be taken out of the WH press briefings per the original proposal by McCurry (Clinton press sec'y) & Fleischer (Bush press sec'y).
