ICBW, but it certainly seems like a common occurance with anyone the Gov't. wants to demonize...dead OR alive.Does...the government have to demonize someone who shot so many people from a hotel tower? I don't know what would have been gained by planting hundreds of images of child porn on the computer... Care to expand on your theory there?

Did the government know others were involved in one way or another? If so, then it would make perfect sense to focus, single out and demonize the one suspect in an effort to obscure or conceal others who might have played a role.
