Most of the time, being a writer isnt very fun, and being a writer of color is even less so. Being a writer is a privilege, but writing has always been lonely work. Even for those of us lucky enough to have full-time staff jobs, it can frequently feel isolating to be in a predominantly white setting, the only commonality between fellow writers of color often being our place on our companies bottom rungs.

This story is SO sad!! Thie person is an immigrant from another land. They chose to come here, and leave whatever they had before. They are surprised that, upon arriving, they are not part of the dominant culture. Suppose I go to Beijing and whine because all these people are Asian? Because they are young and starting out, yet they are dismayed that they have an entry level job? What would be my chances of finding a job at all if I just showed up, in say, Bangalore or Guadalajara? Would I have a decent expectation of being made a managing editor just for being there? Would it be better if I claimed the melanin content of my skin as an employment asset?

latest tactic, it appears, is to take tweets out of context and weaponize them against liberal writers. Not the tweets! 0bama weaponized the IRS and the FBI and your pie hole was silent.

What are three things you can’t give a New York Times “writer of color?”
(Just a little “joke” among this “community” of marginalized white fokes.)

Posted the following on FB along with a photo of the little Asian racists tweets:
now I am apparently on a FB time out:
Racism in any form is repugnant. The New York Times is justifying hiring their racist, because she is the victim here. Some white guy in the past was mean to her. So according to the Times racism is ok if you are the victim of other mean racist tweets. Great job NY Times, by your logic since this asshat has been racist towards me, in turn I am now free to be a racist, misogynistic pig towards women because I feel racial abused by this Asian woman. Oh and the little Asian racist apologized, after she got caught of course. Hey idiots at the Times, ALL racism is bad, just thought you should know.

The Slimes is twisting itself into a pretzel over this. This hateful, bigoted, racist Jeong bimbo has again exposed the rampant racism among minority groups, a fact that the Left refuses to acknowledge. For if it is admitted that, if anything, minorities are far more racist than whites, then the Left cannot pummel whites over the issue any longer. And there goes the race card.
Fact of life: minorities are more racist than whites. Deal with it, leftists. We're not complying with your code of silence on this anymore.

fellow writers of color I've got news for you, snowflake. Black people will NOT accept East Asians as "fellow *** of color". Just ask any Korean store owner in any black neighborhood how "accepted" by that community he feels.

I can agree with you to a point. But the day the right can elect, and give accolades such as lion of the senate to a man who went home to sleep it off while leaving a woman to drown, is the day Ill believe our hypocrisy rises to their level. The day the right can acclaim a former Grand Dragon of the KKK, even after numerous groveling apologies, as the conscience of the senate, is the day Ill believe our hypocrisy equals theirs.

Yes, but dont let them (Der Sturmer-err, the NYT) do one of the things theyd like to do, which is to sow dissent between whites and Asians. The left has mocked Asians as a model minority for a long time, simply because not enough Asians have any real racial animus against whites. The left is doing its usual divide and conquer here.
