Staying out of it is one job Jeff is good at.
Shouldn’t be a problem.Just give him another pillow.
He stopped Trump from firing Sessions....Not good for grassley.
Grassley is an asshat
Justice reform is code for pretending criminals are actually victims. It has zero record of reducing recidivism in the multiple states that have and are trying it.
Freakin idiot. Sessions should of never been picked for AG!!!!
if that’s true i wish grassley hadn’t intervened. i’m not sure what jeff’s problem is - is it incompetence or blackmail or maybe he’s just not on board with trumps plans?
So YOU’RE the one who’s been doing it!!
I thought it was The Turtle putting his two cents in.
“Grassley is an asshat”
Yes, that’s unfortunately true. And he’s a very old asshat. He’s the oldest RINO in the Senate (been there for 37 years) and he’s only three months “younger” than the “Deanette” of the Senate Dianne Fineswine. Both are 84. Fineswine is up for re-election and she may loose. Grassassley is unfortunately likely to be with us until 2022, unless God has other plans. #3 Urine Hatch (who is working on his 42nd year in the Senate) is going, and in his place we get Mittens. In at #4 is Richard Shelby (who has been there for 31 years and will be with us until 2022). Rounding out the octogenarians ( all Pubbies) we have Inhofe, Roberts and McCain.
The first RAT is Leahy who is a “youngster” at 78.
It is a disgrace to be laid directly at the feet of the voters, that we have seven Senators, all over 80 with a total “years of service” of 209 years or 23% of the total years of service for all 100 Senators. If you go 13 deep (down to 75), you get 325 years of service and 36% of the total. In there you have McConnell with 32 years, and Lamar Alexander with 44 years. And you wonder why the Senate never accomplishes anything?
Something is deeply wrong with Jeff Sessions.
This goes beyond Mr. Magoo or Elmer Fudd jokes.
This pattern of behavior has become much more than just cowardice, naivete’ or befuddlement. Something or somebody has placed a lead weight on Session’s tongue. Something or somebody has stilled his hand on most topics. Better check the bottom of that Swamp for the answers.
If Rosenstein actually does get fired (not likely) and Sessions does not immediately decide to run-away-from-home with Rosenstein, THAT may be when the answers lie exposed to the sunlight of discovery. What has Mueller threatened Jeff with? Jail?
If so, for what? Is Sessions protecting somebody? Who? Washington knows Mueller specializes in making mountains out of molehills.
I erred in my post. Lamar Alexander has been in the Senate for 14 years, Leaky Leahy for 44. I misread my spread sheet.
At this point, to me, the only explanation for Session’s behavior is that he is somehow compromised. It makes total sense.
I can totally see the creatures that infect government knowing that Sessions had baggage, and pushing for his appointment as Attorney General so as to allow them to control the JD. It’s the move that the type of unethical manipulators that populate those levels of government would be expected to make. It’s heartbreaking that this great nation is being hurt and compromised by these types of people, who are not motivated by honor, ethics, and patriotism. It’s an affront to all who have died while fighting to preserve and propagate the ideals of liberty and justice that are pillars our nation was built upon - aside our faith.

Sessions looks terrified the few times that I’ve seen him in public lately.
Someone got to him. That’s all I can figure.
This is Sessions: THUD
That is exactly how he looks. Terrified. While Rod Rosenstein looks defiant in his own sleazy way, like the other angry Dems. Sessions looks like a cornered animal in a small locked room.
He has the look where one wrong statement, even one wrong word on camera, and ‘somebody’ GETS it!
Senate from the latin Senex meaning ‘old man’
vetus porcos would be more appropriate—’old swine’.
“Sessions looks terrified the few times that Ive seen him in public lately.”
Or guilty...I’ve seen both looks.
Sessions should have been fired the second he recused himself.
Trump could have simply said - I want a AG who can do his job, not someone who admits day one they can’t serve the President and the people.
