The real problem is that no one wants to be called Mentally Ill. This is a mental disorder, like homosexuality. Sex is a choice. To what level of deviancy you take it too, determines the level of illness.
I myself am bi-polar. you are right it is a biter pill to swallow. fortunately there is no one telling me that it is everyone else who has the problem... there is no cabal of bi-polar individuals taking over the mental health professional associations and rewriting dms so that there illness is no longer a illness.
