It never ceases to amaze me that with the knowledge that the Strait of Hormuz is the pinch point for the orderly and continuous flow of oil out of the Persian Gulf, that an overland pipeline through Dubai and Oman has not been built yet. It isn’t like the Towelheads in SA don’t have the money to build it.
Pipelines are less mobile than supertankers.
Pipelines are not easy to defend either.
The Iranian Navy may not be easy to defend either.
