Bingo. While the economy and tax cuts are great they are not typically campaign issues. Trump needs to run on immigration, the Democrats hatred of ICE, their open borders policies, and disdain for the American citizenry. Bush League republicans and other open borders stooges want him to run on everything but immigration.
Pretty much. By all means tout the great job numbers, great GDP, great consumer consumer confidence , great manufacturing job numbers, but what will really energize and bring out GOP voters in record numbers is a wedge issue like illegal immigration, MS 13 killers, Mexico’s record murder rate and drug cartels, murders by illegal immigrant Mexicans, Guatemalans etc. Hammer away at these issues at every campaign stop and the GOP will retain the House and increase majority in The Senate.
