Life Lesson: Democratic Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a rising star in the increasingly far-Left Democratic Party, has been running from TV show to TV show proclaiming the joys of socialism.
During a recent appearance on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, she offered a rambling ‘defense’ of an economic model that revolves around government theft and redistribution — taking from those who are the most productive and giving to those who are the least productive.
In the end, as British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher once observed of the socialist economic model, you will always run out of other people’s money.
Ocasio-Cortez, a Boston University-trained economist, is just the latest young socialist who thinks she has the magic formula to finally make this never-before-successful economic model work.

Doesn’t matter that it’s failed - AGAIN! As they have done in the past and will continue to do, progressives/socialists/communists or whatever term they dream up tomorrow, will continue to claim that it’s not that socialism is a bad idea, the wrong people have been implementing it. Give geniuses like Bernie, Ocasio-Kotex, Lizzie Warren, etc., a crack at it and it’ll be heaven on earth...

Democrat/Socialist/Communist Liberalism’s goal is to destroy the country from the inside out.
None of them will ever listen. They all say that they will do it right this time.

About 6 years ago, I found myself in a Minnesota college's bookstore intrigued by a little book on capitalism. There was a shelf sticker with the course number, along with the price. I wanted to buy it for my own reading, in addition to buying all the other books my daughter was buying for her classes.
I was concerned though, so I asked permission from the store manager: "Is it okay to buy this book? I'm not in the course, and in case you have just enough for the students taking it, I don't want you to be short". He looked at the title, and laughed - "No problem whatsoever, please buy it".
In other words, socialism goes with the college territory.
