I get your point and agree. Apparently though; we have too many stupid people in America who don’t know how to drive properly so they need a nudge to get a clue.
In Italy they have so many driving laws the citizens finally got sick of it and just started ignoring all of them.
There’s not much more frustrating on the road than some big rig pulling in front of you in the 75 mph zone while he’s doing 34 to pass the other truck who is doing 32 or that idiot in the fast lane doing 55 in the 75 when everyone else is doing 80+. Both are impeding traffic and deserve a ticket.
And that could happen here...........
The idiots in my city don’t know how to merge into traffic from on on-ramp. They all thing everyone has to get over to let them nonchalontly merge into traffic, rather than stepping on it and finding their own damn opening to get in.

I don’t know what the rules are in other states but in mine the cars entering the interstate have to yield to highway traffic and merge safety.
Somewhere that must not be the law because there are occasional idiots who just blast onto the highway expecting traffic to allow them entry.
It is amazing how many inconsiderate drivers there are. Just yesterday we had a car driving 55 miles an hour in a 65 mile- zone. Sped up to 70 when we started passing. What an Icehole.
