The presidents motorcade arrived at the Olentangy Orange High School in Lewis Center, Ohio, at 6:48 p.m. after an uneventful trip with many onlookers snapping pictures and waving flags as the parade cut through a large residential neighborhood.
Only a handful of protest signs along the way. Deport the racists, one read. Pro America, anti Trump, read another. We are now holding in an overflow room and are expecting remarks.

Trump appeared in an overflow room at 6:54 p.m. Several hundred people were gathered in what appeared to be a partition of the gym.
Troy will be fantastic, Trump said during brief remarks. We need him.
This guys a winner, he said, turning back to Balderson. Hes with us. Hes with the agenda.
They are terrible people, he said of the media.
We were escorted out 6:57 p.m.
Were now waiting for the president in the main room. Large U.S. flag in the back. Promises made, promises kept banner in the back. Lots of red hats and quite warm.

President Trumps motorcade rolled from Lewis Center at 839 pm and arrived at Columbus International at 909 pm. after an uneventful ride through red lights and closed highways. The president boarded at 910 with a wave at the top of the stairs.

President Trumps remarks in Lewis Center, Ohio, were open press, so Ill hit only a few very quick highlights here.
Trump briefly hit on the 2016 election at the top and noted Ohios importance to his win.
He moved on to the economy: Weve really produced, he said. Our economy is booming.
Trump praised Republican Troy Balderson, and then weighed into the midterms more broadly.
Theyre talking about this blue wave. I dont think so, Trump said.
I think it could be a red wave.
Its worth noting that the gymnasium, sans AC, was exceedingly warm. Trump made mention of it during his remarks.
Even though its 110 degrees in this crazy room, Trump joked at one point. If you can take it, I can take it.
No mention of LeBron James.
The president wrapped up at 8:19 p.m., after about 71 minutes of remarks, and the pool was brought out. At 8:35 p.m. were holding in the gloriously air conditioned vans.
