Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is now suddenly listening to the NFL.
Four days after seemingly defying the NFL and letting the world know about his teams zero-tolerance policy regarding standing for the national anthem, Jones is now not talking about the issue because he has been told not to by the league.
Jones informed several local television stations who had booked him for interviews on their Sunday night show from training camp in Oxnard, Calif., that questions about the national anthem and his teams policy were not permitted because the NFL had told him to stop speaking on the matter.
It prompted Fox 4s Mike Doocy to cancel his interview with Jones
Doocy said he was told by the Cowboys public relations staff that he could not ask any questions about the national anthem at the last minute. He made the editorial decision to nix the interview.
Jones did appear on other local channels but without being asked about the anthem.
Jones sudden adherence to league policy comes less than a week after he separated himself from the NFL with his pronouncement of a team-mandated anthem policy of standing to attention with toes on the line or face the prospect of getting cut.

Sell.
Just think of all the other wonderful and fun things you can do with all that newfound free time.
College football.
“I could careless..”
So it’s obvious you care.
How about no...I don’t care.
How about no...I don’t care.
Heck...twice..!!!
The NFL is trying to do itself in, again this year. I’m not so sure there’s much left to do in, but it’s their nickel. Idiots.
I could not care less either.
Ha!!!
I think so too. Actually their product has diminished to a point that there is no longer any team identification. Rush called the SF 49rs the SF “FOREIGNERS” today. Do they allow white football players any more? damned few. I really dont care what they do. Jones went out and held hands in “solidarity” with those anti American bastards so I have NO respect for Jerry Jones. The whole thing has gone to hell. I was out last year. I didn’t watch a single game.
