I see Romney as a vote to convict in the Senate in 2019
Just let every Republican switch parties for the 8 week period after the election and DARE the Democrats to spin their wheels. This assumes rightly that GOP will keep both houses. Have some fun with them.
Romney will try to be the second coming of Juan McPain, but no way he would vote to convict in an impeachment.
