George Will: As irrelevant as he is eloquent!
Will is anything but eloquent. Eloquent is defined as "fluent or persuasive". He is neither. He fills his writings with uncommon, ambiguous words, irrelevant to most readers. That's hardly persuasive, and certainly not fluent. He must think it will cause people to believe him to be intellectual. In fact, it makes him effete.
Effete: ineffectual · over-refined · artificial · studied · pretentious · flowery · used to describe an animal no longer capable of producing offspring.
