Yes,I know it wouldn't completely solve the problem.There are certainly some Protestant clergy and rabbis who abuse girls and boys.But if you're a guy married to a woman that means that you've probably got your head screwed on straight (no puns intended) which means that you're probably not gonna be hitting on kids...of either gender.
The problem is deviants have for centuries been active in the catholic church, aided by the various Popes and Vatican officials who covered for those deeds. Unfortunately because they refused to rid the church of this scum it then was a safe harbor for gays and other deviates to heavily infiltrate.....and they did.
