Seagram heiress posts $100 million bond, including Saratoga County properties

The collateral posted by Bronfman, an heiress of the Seagram Company fortune, included $25 million in cash and securities and $12 million in U.S. properties owned by Bronfman and her sister, Sara. The properties include three properties in Clifton Park and Waterford valued at $3.1 million, and a horse farm in Knox worth $1.4 million.
The surety for the bond which was co-signed by Bronfman’s mother, Georgia Webb-Bronfman, and her brother-in-law, Basit Igtet also includes a $13 million private island in Fiji that Bronfman purchased several years ago...
