Break out the popcorn and enjoy the show.
Haha!!!
That is disconcerting.
:)

Heads will be splodin’. Good times.
Since the Dems love symbolism the president should hold his meetings with Putin in Moscow, ID or St. Petersburg, FL. The president needs to run it right in their faces!
IT’S A COOKBOOK!
Excellent idea! Moscow PA (btw) is probably doable via Marine One.
There was NOTHING wrong with what he said in that press conference BECAUSE the Intelligence community has been tryig to RUIN HIM and EVERYONE around him!n
Good. Let them chew on the economic growth numbers for a couple of days, then announce ending security clearances for pieces of dung like Brennan and Clapper. Just when their heads are a peak explosion, announce another meeting with Putin.
Putin wants to discuss with Trump American recognition of the Russian annexation of a chunk of Ukraine the size of Britain. Why not? It would be a major domestic public relations triumph for Putin. Think Chamberlain at Munich:
The settlement of the Czechoslovakian problem, which has now been achieved is, in my view, only the prelude to a larger settlement in which all Europe may find peace. This morning I had another talk with the German Chancellor, Herr Hitler, and here is the paper which bears his name upon it as well as mine. Some of you, perhaps, have already heard what it contains but I would just like to read it to you: “ ... We regard the agreement signed last night and the Anglo-German Naval Agreement as symbolic of the desire of our two peoples never to go to war with one another again.”
My good friends, for the second time in our history, a British Prime Minister has returned from Germany bringing peace with honour. I believe it is peace for our time. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Go home and get a nice quiet sleep.
While there are parallels to be sure with Chamberlain, there are differences as well.
The irony in Chamberlain’s case is that there was no need for active British participation in the defense of Czechoslovakia. Then as now, it was possible for the aggressor country to be bled and held in check simply through the provision of arms and financial assistance to the country under threat. The Soviet Union, while under the grip of a totalitarian dictatorship, and with double Russia’s current population, left Afghanistan after losing 13,000 dead. Russia will leave Ukraine after far fewer casualties. The only question is whether the West will provide Ukraine with the paltry amounts needed to bleed Russia to its uncle point.
Break out the popcorn and enjoy the show.
Haha!!!
Absolutely. It sure is a barrel of laughs watching Putin undermine POTUS as much as he can.
[While there are parallels to be sure with Chamberlain, there are differences as well.]
The theft of Crimea is a non controversial subject in Russia. They’re going to keep it and we can’t do anything about it at this point. New German turbines power Crimean lights and the EU can’t wait to end sanctions. You can thank the kenyan for that mess. Donbas is another issue. I expect Putin will “give it back” after much diplomatic theater.
Also, the Sudetenland was key to the defense of Czechoslovakia, once it was given away, they had no viable defense against Germany.
This is also the Daily Mail so they can be rather liberal with the truth with regularity. And they love stirring the Russian hate in the UK as well after the nerve gas thingy.
The president has a busy schedule with a Supreme Court Justice nomination pending and a very important House election coming up. Vlad will have to wait his turn.
When our President decides it is the right time: there is also a Moscow and a Geneva in Southern Minnesota. Kinda quiet little farm towns as I recall?
