Goes to show you how much our culture has changed in the last 60-70 years. Used to be if you carried concealed you were nefarious one. The person who openly carried may not have been a good guy; at least he wasn't some dastardly underhanded thug, definitely up to no good. All becasue he wasn't openly carrying his firearm.

A man open carries you are fairly warned that he is armed and not feared to let you know it, which to me says he is serious about his rights and his safety.

Now as to the 'cowboy' factor I say it is just as prevalent as the 'jr g man' man factor I have this nice concealed rig that I keep my weapon hidden am just like a super secret spy or undercover guy or I am Jack Bauer!

Now I believe a show of strength is in most cases a good thing. Like the man said:
