Noob is the expression the intellectually deficient use for trying to win an argument by claiming that the “noob” poster has only been on the site for a short period of time comapred to the name caller. Apparently the senior poster believes his seniority adds to his argument, when in fact anyone with a brain knows that seniority plays no role whatsoever in the legitimacy of an argument. All it does is expose the name caller as someone too deficient to effectively argue a point thus requiring name calling as a substitute for brains.

I am amused being called noob even though I have been a FR follower much longer than most on the board. They seem to think that a current screen name relates to longevity.

I am not going to call you a noob, but that was a uncivil way to address a fellow Freeper.

No call for it. She made a mistake. We all do.

What is wrong with simply saying “Do you know you posted an article that is several years old?” No need for calling someone a moron for a mistake like that.
