Fox News President Jay Wallace has put out a statement expressing support for CNN after the White House barred reporter Kaitlan Collins from the Trump Rose Garden event this afternoon.
Collins was informed by the White House she was being blocked because they didnt like her shouted questions to President Donald Trump at the pool spray earlier.
The rest of the media came to Collins defense, notably including Fox News. After Bret Baier said Fox stands with CNN, Wallace issued this statement:
Brett sux.
Screeching “do you feel betrayed by Michael Cohen” at a meeting that is announcing a HUGE win for the US is just wrong. These people are harassing...too bad they don’t actually report the news. Weren’t there supposed to be something called journalist’s ethics or standards? What happened to them?
No manners, no respect for protocol = no WH press pool pass
Whomp whomp
FOX is wrong and they cheapen the whole stand together thing. She was rude. They didnt ban CNN, she wasnt banned, she just wasnt asked to attend.
I think it ought to be done more. I think the lack of manners is embarrassing and Im tired of cringing every time our leaders stand beside world leaders and the press act like street kids fighting over table scraps
After Brett celebrated & congratulated Guy Benson’s homosexual marriage proposal, he may indeed “sux”...literally.
Got tired of all the idiot lefties on Tuckers show.Same here but I'd include Laura, Hannity and even Jesse Watters.
Lou Dobbs is the only Fox show I watch and frankly I'm getting tired of him interrupting his guests midsentence.
In September, my cable goes. FOX goes too.
Yup! He lets them rattle off 10 talking points and he responds to only one. The others go unchallenged.
And a week or two later, the same loony lefties get invited back for a repeat performance.
Hey Tucker, get a clue!
Agreed, Q-N-Q
The question is how do we get there?
I think DJT is doing exactly the right thing and should continue to toss out reporters, not for asking tough questions, but for rudely shouting them out.
She can’t be tolerated if she can’t behave properly. It’s that simple.
If everyone else behaves and SHE doesn’t...she is obstructing the conference. She needs to learn how to act.
“””Tucker is the last one worth watching.”””
Lou Dobbs is always good.
Fox being PC and dumb.
Shep is going to have a field day with this story. I don’t watch him but he will be all over this.
The DC pool reporters have no sense of decorum. Last week they were in the cabinet room and when the meeting ended, the reporters start SCREAMING their questions and comments at the President and his Cabinet.
The reporters act like little children throwing a temper tantrum.
Obama banned reporters who did stories deemed unflattering to him. They rarely behaved like this with him.
Trump has patiently put up with very rude reporters and CNN has been the worst offender. They slam him every day for being “uncouth” yet they yell and disrupt state events by the most transparent administration in my lifetime. They look like children and the reactions by foreign leaders illustrate just how ridiculous it has become.
It is past time to kick the toddlers out of the room so the adults can talk. This has nothing to do with press freedom, it needs to be about manners and decorum. The behavior by many in the media, yelling and disrupting state events, is simply embarrassing.
Kick their asses out too.
I agree - but leave it to Sarah to be the bad cop here. She can handle it!
Baier is smug and hates Trump.. it shows all over him. I cannot stand to see his face or hear him talk.. he’s so elite and it’s not becoming.
I watch Hannity to see what news he has on.. I wish he’d stop showing all the stuff I avoided all day. I watch Tucker sometimes. I like the morning crew, but that is all that does not make my blood boil.
The short skirts are not cute any more and if fox is going to turn into what the rest are... no use tuning in.
