Burn out is burn out. You can’t judge what causes some one burn out.
Not taking anything away from anyone who has fought or lived in war zones, each person’s mind handles stress and information or events that cause them stress chemical reactions and then physical symptoms differently.
Nurses, doctors burn out take drugs etc to try to hold up under pressure of their job. Cashiers at stores burn out if they are in busy stores constant flow of people everyday. Having to be “up” all the time and look just right can be mentally and physically burn out too.
You make a good point. I’ve suffered burnout before and it’s BAD.
Sorry friend - the jobs you have compared this girl to having are contributing jobs to society.
If you are going to try to convince me that having to get dolled up to hang out at PR events........drink and meet celebs........and only be in the workforce for a handful of years........and complain that 10 days vacation just isn’t enough to “enjoy life”..........not buying it.
This girl had the means going in and has the means coming out. It’s not anything about being “burnt out” as this article portrays. She just didn’t want to work that hard so she packed it and rationalized that it was work stress.
She doesn’t know what work stress is because she’s not locked in to any real form of responsibility except to that of herself.
Maybe the title is off then.
Agree with you 100%,
I know there are freepers who are not fans of my Generation, which is understandable, but just because they burn out does not mean they are weak, it just that they have burned out for they are human and all humans have a limit and are all different, I know so. I just recently got out of Afghanistan being attached to a com unit as a civilian being there for 2 years and between the BS, environment, politics and some drama I was already burned out before my first year but kept pushing for a while longer and it was time for me to go, we are all human man.
