While I agree it fits that pattern, it's highly unlikely. China does NOT welcome them. Not in the slightest.
Depends on the area. The west portions and inner Mongolia have mosques built by Saudi and other muslim benefactors.
Remember China a big country and it’s not always represented well by the populated industrial coastal areas, much as ours.
