This was obviously a planned massacre vs several Druze villages

Assad has no enmity with the druze nor they with him and no way would carry out a massacre that would cost him support
School textbooks in Syria preach jihadism and anti-Semitism. The Holocaust is not mentioned with regard to WWII and Israel is not considered a country but occupier of Palestine and Golan Heights. Actions against Israel are lauded including violence and martyrdom.
This is what the wartorn up and coming generation grows up indoctrinated with.
