Hah. I didn’t know Jerry Jones was idiotic. But he is.

The Flag and the National Anthem are our official national symbols, by law. Our nation, which they represent, is based on the Constitution, nothing more, nothing less.

The President has to defend the Constitution. By law. The Flag and the Anthem represent the Constitution.

He’s just doing the job the nation elected him to do.

The Constitution is amended. The 13th amendment is part of the Constitution, therefore, the Constitution, our nation, along with its symbols, Flag and The Anthem, represent abolishment of slavery. The framers made the Constitution amendable therefore they are included in this honor. They knew they were not perfect and made allowances.

Freedom of expression in the first amendment guarantees that these people who protest our nation are not violating the law, and that may or may never be up for debate for the future, but they are not protected by the Constitution they protest (the 1st amendment) from the effects of their actions such as public and free market disapproval.

Oh, and, the Anthem does not represent racism. Not in any way.

I love that this is a free market solution. So many other problems could be solved with free market solutions.

The Cable tv basic bundle comes to mind.

This is a one, two punch.

Cable tv will be hit on both sides. Decreasing NFL fans with reduced advertising and cordcutters increasing with the reducion in cable tv subscriber fees and reduced advertising.
