This is a very well written article and it hits at the heart of what I have been trying to get through to my blind liberal relatives for a long time. Lesbian activists have plans for us and they will lie, cheat and steal our children to achieve it.
I applaud you in your success with your step daughter. She is blessed to have you and you, her. There is nothing more special than a healthy father-daughter bond, whether or not it is biological.
As I am sure you know, though, the step child-parent relationship is often fraught with difficulty. I was one of those kids and I have known many others. We did not fair so well as your daughter in the step dad lottery. My mother’s choice of a second husband made my life miserable and my mother’s vindictiveness toward my dad didn’t help. All water under the bridge now, decades later. My dad and I are very close.
