I think the press retains substantial influence. Like most things, this isn't "all or nothing," rather it is a balance.
If the press was honest, Trump's approval would be HIGHER. The press is able to depress that rating, and also able to influence vote outcomes. It used to be able to "tip the balance" all the way over to its preferred public/mass outcome. Their power isn't strong enough to get that far against Trump.
I have an idea that if the media were to actually treat Trump fairly, or better yet, actually praise him, and do stories about the good in the man past and present, the over all ratings would increase. I for one, would start watching shows that gave us true insight of the man.
We can learn from Trump. I enjoy listening to him. The man takes shots from all sides, and he’s able to move forward. JUST THINK IF HE HAD SOMEONE IN HIS OWN PARTY CARRYING THE WEIGHT FOR HIM, OR MORE PEOPLE IN THE MEDIA BEHIND HIM.
Could you imagine what an emotional wreck OBunghole would have been had the media treated him this way? He would be trembling in a corner wearing 15 straight jackets.
T cannot be that bad—no one is that talented.
Negative news is one thing, wild-eyed craziness, which is what ABC, CBS and NBC deals in, is quite another.
If they added in MSNBC, CNN and FOX, that 92 percent would rise to close to 98 percent.
Im certain the figure is100% on CNN and MSNBC.
