Ted Nugent endorses John James for U.S. Senate

Musician Ted Nugent has endorsed Republican John James for U.S. Senate.

Nugent, who performed Friday at DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, brought James on stage calling him his “blood brother” while encouraging concert goers to vote for James.

“I have hope and I have faith in Michigan because I’ve got a blood brother from Detroit, a US Army warrior, and I want him to meet you tonight because we are going to vote for John James for US Senate!” said Nugent while introducing James on stage. “You need to know this guy, he defends Michigan!”

James is running for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Sen. Debbie Stabenow.

This article doesn't mention there is a primary on August 7th. Defeating Stabenow would be a tall order but we would have more of a fighting chance with this candidate than "generic Republican" Sandy Pensler. Looks like in polls Pensler is in the lead, but nowhere near 50% with most saying "undecided", meaning Pensler could keep 100% of his current support and James still win in a landslide if he could get some additional attention and break out.

My vote goes to Capt. James.

I've liked him ever since I saw him and President Trump exchange salutes at a Trump rally.

I watched many of Capt. James' rallies which are linked to on facebook. He's smart, (West Point does accept idiots usually) well spoken, and is 100% pro Trump.

It seems that John James has has it all - looks, smarts, experience. His family and he run a successful business, but his military service really makes him our blood brother.

Enlisted in the Army, got appointed to West Point, earned a Ranger tab, became an Apache attack helicopter pilot, and flew 750 combat hours over Baghdad (’07-’09).

750 hours is about every day for two years. It is a lot of intense combat action - not cruising along a straight line. During this period (among other things), Muqtada Sadr’s Mahdi Army was firing rockets at US forces in Baghdad, and Apaches were firing back into East Baghdad (Sadr City). They also provided direct support to forces on the ground whenever they were engaged. It was just a couple of minutes of flight time from the airport to the action, and those pilots were wearing out their weapons systems.

Pensler is less exciting than Lawrence Welk, he makes Jeb look high energy.

All John James needs is Our Lion PDJT to endorse him to get him the bump he needs in the Primary. Let us hope it come on or about 08/06.
