President Donald Trump spoke to the VFW Convention today in Kansas City, Missouri.
During his speech invited 94-year-old veteran Allen Jones on stage to share a few words.
Allen stole the show.
The World War II veteran told the story of losing his brother in World War II fighting. Then Allen turned to President Trump and made a request. Allen asked the US president if he could bring his family to the Oval Office next April when he turns 95.
President Trump said yes and gave Allen a hug.
This was an amazing American moment.

News outlets didn’t show this on TV. Imagine if this had been Obama? We would see if e times a day for e weeks.
Thanks Hojczyk.
Thanks for posting this!
Did you notice Trump’s body language when Mr Jones asked if he could go to the oval office? He lower his head as if to say “I’d be honored”.
That’s when my computer got blurry.
That’s adorable. Old enough to be Trump’s dad.
Thanks for the link! Teared up a bit.
I so like our President Trump. He has more class in one finger than all Democrats combined.
No kidding...I liked the way President Trump comported himself while the guy was talking...:)
Texarkana does the same on the border between Texas and Arkansas. There’s a painted stipe that defines the border and it even appears in stores, restaurants and bars.
