Beauty is fleeting but cooking ability lasts a lifetime.
Most of what is considered beauty in our society is just youth, IMO.
Hkmmmm.... sounds a bit like the common pit bull.
***Beauty is fleeting but cooking ability lasts a lifetime.***
1930s
My mother was beautiful, but my dairy farmer father saw her other attributes as bonus points. She could milk the cows and drive the milk delivery truck. She could collect eggs, kill chickens, pluck and cook them. Plant, grow and cook vegetables. Washed laundry by hand, until he fashioned a primitive washing machine for her.
It worked ‘back in the good old days’ but women do not do heavy physical, time consuming labor at home anymore - so they have time and skill for “outside the home” work.
Re: “Cooking ability lasts a lifetime.”
