The crime organizations are not just moving people to make a few thousand dollars each time. They're moving human cargo because they've discovered how to leverage that operation in a way that helps ensure the success of their real money-maker, drug smuggling.
“The way they use families and children to tie up Border Patrol resources while they bring narcotics through an adjacent point of the border ... creates operational challenges and that’s exactly why we’re trying to prevent the vulnerable populations from crossing between ports of entry illegally because it takes time and energy and focus away from the hardened smugglers and criminals,” U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Kevin McAleenan said during a recent trip to the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas.
Because federal law says all illegal immigrants must be apprehended and processed by Border Patrol, the surge this spring has forced agents and other resources to be diverted to regions where illegal crossings are most common, and this allows drug cartels to move their narcotics through spots that are left unguarded.

now as large or larger in numbers than illegals crossing the
southern border. The USA is being hit from two very differing
groups. But both are here illegally.

Military on the border, all along it, no one crosses, no visas for crossing the border even at border crossings, nothing until Mexico stops the flow on their side. They won’t, too much corruption in Mexico, so the border will stay closed.
I won’t be surprised if this keeps up they close it on a temporary basis.....the left will get their pants in a huge know as usual but it may have to be done.
Build the wall to stop most of this nonsense then get serious about making illegal entry a felony. That by itself would grounds for immediate deportation and possibly a suspended one year in jail or on a work farm with little or no pay.
So sick of our feckless congress refusing to do its job. The feds don’t really have a lot of mandates. Protecting the borders are one of them.

Well those changes are what’s being done and in play....they would be in place were it not for the Americans standing with the Dems and obstructing everything that addresses our concerns. Enforcement have the green light until these Judges step up and stop it. Of course flooding the border is exactly a let tactic so no doubt there’s funding going to those who want to cross as we know. Soros and his organizations come to mind.....
It’s like those being picked up at sea from africa.....Doctors without Borders group are ‘searching for them’ not because they have concerns those people live or die but because they too are a part of the redistribution of populations to ‘flood’ western nations.
Same with out border getting flooded with people...
Hungary and Poland used their military WHILE building their razor fences against the refugee invasion. We should do likewise....and not just the national guard picking up the slack work.
