Voter registration patterns in Florida match 2014 trends — when Republicans won

But a deeper look at Florida’s voter file shows that the post-Parkland bump, where the total number of young people registering to vote increased by 41 percent in the two and a half months after the shooting, matches trends during the 2014 midterm elections where Republicans were able to maintain control of the governor’s mansion and win back a competitive Miami congressional seat.

“There’s a bump in March [2018] but I suspect this is the same kind of impacts from supervisors going out and registering voters that we have seen in other election years,” Smith said. “I’ve looked at voter registration trends and they’re cyclical. There’s a lot of outside factors

The majority of young voters also aren’t registering as Democrats.

A plurality of young voters are registering without a party affiliation and Democrats outpace Republicans among newly registered young voters. Florida has a closed primary, meaning only registered Democrats and Republicans can vote in their party’s respective primary election.

Time for a few hundred thousand “families” of Puerto Ricans to enter the beaches of Florida and get voter ID cards. Also Latinos by the truckload ready to vote straight leftist and sign up for welfare.

Another creepy thing: a lot of people who wre burned out acidhead hippies in the 60s are now babbling senior citizens who still hold onto the leftover warmed up socialist ideals of flower power and Woodstock. I see men with “gray pony tails” and blank staring old women praising the Dems every day around here. They adore Hillary. Enough said. Hope FL isn’t overrun with them. Give a peace sign to beat them out of the bushes and the tall grass. See who peace signs back. Ugh.

"The Rs will gain in Florida and across the country."

I have never wished for anything more in recent years than a big GOP turnout across the country in order to hold on to the House and increase the number of Republicans in the Senate.

I am also tired of this talk of Socialism from the DEMs. This is not Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Zimbabwe or South Africa.

Praying here in Maryland that there will be a Red Tsunami for the Midterms across the country.

Just wishing I had something worthwhile for which to vote in my hapless, hopeless state.

I'm sticking with the TOP (Trump Old Party) picking up 65 House and 12 Senate Seats.

I saw something very disingenuous about Senator Nelson and the democrat party calling for displaced Puerto Ricans to come out and vote.

I think the doomsday scenario will happen to the Dems. The Dems will lose and the leftist part of them Dem party will split into a Democratic Socialist party.

The Democrat Party was taken over by Leftists decades ago—they’re just now showing their true colors. They are alienating a lot of older Democrats, but they are gaining lots of indoctrinated kids. It’s a toss-up right now: the young rarely vote in midterms, but they will be fielding many outright leftists who will eventually gain the young socialists’ vote. I pray that faction remains small, but there are some disturbing trends.

We all had better make dam sure they dont get control of the house.

Just take some time and look who’s in line for committee chairmanships in that party.

You will get a very sick feeling in your gut.
