Earlier elections the staffs of B&N and Borders used to deliberately sabotage incoming conservative books (damage, tear, pour something on them) so they’d be returned to the publisher. AFTER the election replacements would come in, too late to influence anyone. That was before Nook type devices,too.
I said on FR recently Scot Greer’s fine book No Campus For White Men was classified to be put in B&Ns “Education” section,which no one sees, near jigsaw puzzles and remedial reading children’s books. It is about mobs attacking anyone conservative on campuses and closing down speakers there. Technically “education.” Buy the book online and make B&N sorry.
