Exactly, had the Republicans AKA RINOs, played hardball with Clinton back then, We may have never had the likes of Obama being president and not be in the state we are now in.
Problem is, you would be daft to think that Mueller et al don’t have something on deck for October. Which do you think will garner widespread coverage? The CI testified about U1... barely a blip. The Nunez memo was released...barely a blip. IG report... etc.
PDT could have a slice of pie for breakfast on October 1st and it will lead the news cycle until the 8th regardless of what that FISA app says. Hate to be negative but I am in somewhat of a fog trying to figure out why one of the most aggressive POTUS in history is taking this crap.
Hannity, Carter and Jarrett were completely off the rails tonight screaming for PDT to order the warrant unredacted 1st thing tomorrow. It’s disheartening seeing this already tonight.
That is because if he released it all close to the election it would be political, just like the plot to spy on him and get him thrown out of office was.
Everything in it’s time - Trump is obviously not worried and sees no need to take “extraordinary” steps at this time...
Congress should use it’s own authority and impeach all those who don’t comply with subpoenas.
If I was Nunes and company, I be getting very discouraged by the inaction of POTUS in this matter. Why should Nunes fight so hard to uncover the truth just to have the White House turn their backs to him.
Mueller is nowhere near folding his tent. If the Dems get back control of the House (the senate looks unlikely for them) Mueller will be even more aggressive because there won’t be any scrutiny of him. If Pubs manage to keep the House, Mueller will want to hang on for another two years so he can be a disruptive factor in the presidential election.
He was put there by the Deep State and he’s far from running out of gas. He has an unlimited budget, unlimited resources, and unlimited time. They expect him to produce.
And he will produce SOMETHING. It doesn’t have to be based in facts or evidence. Or even be legal. He just has to find something — ANYTHING — that he can use to damage Trump.
Its not an investigation; its an inquisition. And inquisitions have staying power. The last one ran for a couple of centuries. ;)
I’d love to see Mueller go away but just trying to keep it real.
