Observations:

- he was initially described as “white”. The media were all set to blame this on some “right wing” woman hater. I’m sure they feel very disappointed.

- the family is pushing the “mentally ill” narrative and it will be amplified by the media, politicians and police, who refuse to admit Canada has an islamic terrorists problem.

- in May 2018 another muslim who admitted his attack was motivated by his religion, successfully copped an insanity plea after attempting to kill soldiers at a Canadian Army recruitment centre. These are actual quotes from the judge’s decision:

“The attack was motivated by the defendant’s radical religious and ideological beliefs but there is no dispute that the formation of those beliefs was in large part precipitated by mental disorder,” the judge says in his decision.

“One of the beliefs that the defendant had formed in his mentally disordered state was that killing Canadian military personnel was justified because the military was fighting in Muslim lands.”
